We want you to be a part of the congregation life and ministry of Hope Lutheran Church.

Golf -- Annual
The annual HLC golf outing takes place in the fall.
Golf -- Monthly
Teams are paired to play a scramble on an assigned executive course. The competing teams choose their own day and time to play during each month.
"Hope Diamonds" Singles' Group
The goal of this group is to provide the opportunity for all who are alone to join other members in group meetings and events. They meet the second Wednesday of each month to pack snack packs for our ministry to needy grade school children. They plan for activities for future meetings and other events and afterwards they go to lunch. On the 16th of every month they also meet at a local theater to see a movie and have a meal.
Hospitality / Special Events Team
The team plans and organizes fellowship activities of the congregation, especially those that involve food.
Men of Hope
The mission of "Men of Hope" is to provide a Christ-centered fellowship for all the male members and friends of HLC. The Men of Hope meet on the second Thursday of each month for breakfast.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
In 2003, the Lutheran Brotherhood and the Aid Association for Lutherans merged into Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The Hope chapter of Thrivent provides fellowship and funds through work projects and funding from Thrivent for our congregation and the local community. The chapter has held silent auctions, Chinese auctions, Octoberfest at the Polo Field, and a chili soup supper at Hope. These projects and matching funding from Thrivent have provided choir and chime music, chime choir tables and pads, a freezer for the church kitchen, and library computer software. Thrivent has also provided funds to Seeds of Hope, Love INC, Wildwood Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity Homes, disaster funding, Women of Hope, Bibles for the Pregnancy Center, library books and reading volunteers to Village Elementary, and World Hunger with the Tour de Revs 2009 Project.
This is a recently-formed support group open to all widows and widowers. Group members gather together to spend time with people in a similar situation with similar concerns.
