| How to Join |
New Member Orientation is held every quarter.
Are you a seasonal resident or a full-time resident? Are you looking for a home congregation? We invite you to become a Regular Member or Associate Member of Hope. You can become a Regular Member by transferring your membership from you old church, or, if you are not presently a member of an Evangelical Lutheran church, by declaring your affirmation of faith. If you are a seasonal resident who wishes to retain your membership in your home congregation, you can become an Associate Member. An Associate Member has all the priveleges of a Regular Member except that you cannot hold a position on the church council. You will enjoy full voting privileges as you have in your home congregation.
If you wish to join, you have several options:
- you can call the church office at 750-2321 and speak with our Office Manager
- you can indicate your desire by e-mailing us at hopelutheranchurch@thevillages.net
- you can sign the Fellowship Pad found in your pew during Sunday morning worship and check the wish-to-join box.
Information on joining Hope will be mailed to you, A follow-up telephone call will be made to assist you with any questions you may have.

We Believe (Congregation recites):
It is the purpose of Hope Lutheran Church to engage as many persons as will share its confession of faith in a fellowship of worship, learning, witness and service so that the Word of God in Jesus Christ may become effective in their lives. Together and individually, we work to fulfill our mission as a congregation and work in relationship with other Christian fellowships and social institutions at home and throughout the world. In order to develop the individual ministries we will remain flexible and open to meet the changing needs of the church, the community and the world. It is our aim to draw on the talents of all persons to involve them in the life and mission of the church.
